Just a thought.

I just watched the Cadets’ “Before and After” video (again) and it finally sunk in.

This summer, that will be me in that uniform. It’s been a week since I was given the bass spot for the Cadets2, and with everything that’s been going on since then, I have really gotten to process that this summer, I may very well be living out a dream. I might very well accomplish everything I’ve set out to do since I started in this activity in 2009.

What will bring this full circle for me, and be the crowning achievement of this summer will likely come on June 10th. Supposedly, there’s a performance in commemoration of the centennial anniversary of the Most Holy Name church….

….and that performance will be in Garfield, New Jersey, where it all began.
